If you don't get it, you obviously need to start playing the game right now. This review will be rigged with League of Legends references. If you enjoy it, good for you! As for me, Konosuba was not my cup of tea. I would only recommend it to extreme fans of the reality to game genre, and. If you consider this anime funny it is definitely something to try, but if not, don't bother. ok, I'm not even going to say it had potential, because it didn't. By episode 10, they were straight up annoying. I think it was around episode 7 when I stopped laughing because I had heard the same jokes over and over again. Usually unique characters being fit into a 10 episode anime like this are praised and loved by all, because there isn't enough time to realize the flaws in the character. Hilarious! And of couuuurse, how could I forget fan favorite Megumin! Super cute and always unleashing explosions, what is NOT to love about these characters?!. Aqua is funny as well, and memorable for sure, but she is outshined by Darkness, a masochist. As for their personalities: Kazuma is a funny lead that tries to defy the harem cliches. They have the traditional 'fantasy world' clothing and design, through and through. The voice acting is done decently, but is nothing special. I did like how some characters got themes to match their personalities, but even then the music was mediocre at best. The ending theme as well, is just plain and not something anyone will remember. But not the kind of way that makes you want to sing it all the time, the kind that makes you regret ever haring it because you can't stop singing it. HOLY CRAP DID YOU SEE THOSE JIGGLE PHYSICS?! Radiant colors flaring everywhere, shapes of all different sizes, but most importantly, in the episodes with the succibi and in the mansion. What is impressive however, is the animation, especially in episode 10, with all those explosion scenes. It could have been worse, MUCH worse, but it is by no means impressive. As in, it looks way too old for 2016 quality. Instead of choosing to become ridiculously powerful like almost every other protagonist, this protagonist decides to take the wish granter with him to the 'subarashi sekai'. Konosuba does have one thing going for it After the extreme success of Sword Art Online the reality to game genre has become an insanely overused trope. I'm pretty sure everybody has said this already, but, it really is true. In my opinion, at least 90% of comedy anime are destined for failure, because not everyone is going to find them funny. as you can probably see by the score, my opinion changed pretty quickly. I mean, it had awesome character design, and it was funny! Well. Konosuba is an anime that I initially thought was going to be great. blood pressure, body temperature, weight, breathing rate) and provide their medical history.24 Hour/7 Day Emergency Services (Beyond 911) PWCS Child Protective Services: 70 ACTS Helpline Phone: 70 North Spring Behavioral Healthcare: 70 CrisisLink Suicide Hotlines Regional: 70 Text: CONNECT to 855-11 PWCS Community Services Manassas: 7969 Ashton Avenue: 70 Woodbridge: 15941 Donald Curtis Dr., #200: 70 CR2 (Children's Regional Crisis Response) 844-N-CRISIS (84) National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-Suicide or 1-800-273-TALK Text: HOME to 741-741 Chat online: The Trevor Project Text: START to 678-678 Trevor Lifeline: 1.866.488. As launched she had 10 passenger cabins, a spacious dining saloon and galley (with accommodation for two cooks), a smoking room, a darkroom to allow passengers to develop photographs, electric lighting and even a small bathroom. Her original purpose was to provide luxurious accommodation for small tourist and hunting parties in the Arctic as an ice-capable steam yacht. She was 144 ft (44 m) long, with a 25 ft (7.6 m) beam, and measured 350 tons gross. The ship was launched on 17 December 1912 and was initially christened Polaris after the North Star. Every detail of her construction had been scrupulously planned to ensure maximum durability: for example, every joint and fitting was cross-braced for maximum strength. She was built under the supervision of master wood shipbuilder Christian Jacobsen, who was renowned for insisting that all men in his employment were not just skilled shipwrights but also experienced in seafaring aboard whaling or sealing ships. The wreck is designated as a protected historic site and monument under the Antarctic Treaty System.ĭesigned by Ole Aanderud Larsen, Endurance was built at the Framnæs shipyard in Sandefjord, Norway. She lies 3,008 metres (9,869 ft 1,645 fathoms) deep, and is in "a brilliant state of preservation". The wreck of Endurance was discovered on 5 March 2022, nearly 107 years after she sank, by the search team Endurance22. All of the crew survived her sinking and were eventually rescued in 1916 after using the ship's boats to travel to Elephant Island and Shackleton, the ship's captain Frank Worsley, and four others made a voyage to seek help. A year later, she became trapped in pack ice and finally sank in the Weddell Sea off Antarctica on 21 November 1915. After her commissioners could no longer pay the shipyard, the ship was bought by Shackleton in January 1914 for the expedition, which would be her first voyage. The ship, originally named Polaris, was built at Framnæs shipyard and launched in 1912 from Sandefjord in Norway. Based on preliminary data in neonates, our null hypothesis was that there would be no difference between venous CO 2 as measured by end-tidal and transcutaneous methods.Įnd-tidal CO 2 (Et CO2) was measured via the sidestream (diverting) sampling device (Medline 3m 0.06 ID) on the anesthesia machine (GE Aisys Datex-Ohmeda). Adequate direct comparisons of the two monitors are not available. Many neonatal intensive care units and pediatric intensive care units (PICU) utilize tcP CO2 as a primary means of Pa CO2 monitoring. In addition, Et CO2 is not feasible in high-frequency oscillators or jet ventilators as the volume of each breath is less than dead space. The sampling flow rate on the Et CO2 in relation to the tidal volume and total flow used to ventilate extremely low birth weight infants provides ambiguous data. While this methodology is well established in operative care, Et CO2 is known to be less accurate in the neonatal population. The standard of care for monitoring respiratory status during anesthesia has been end-tidal CO 2 (Et CO2) and pulse oximetry. 7 This non-invasive infant study uses Pv CO2 as the surrogate for Pa CO2. 4, 5 One study which showed close correlation of Et CO2 with Pa CO2 recommends Et CO2 usage for longitudinal monitoring in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) 6 data from a more heterogeneous intraoperative cohort suggest that tcP CO2 may be more accurate. Two recent reviews suggest that tcP CO2 should be used as an adjunct to end-tidal CO 2. Publications relating to use in infants and children with respiratory failure, 1 congenital heart disease, 2 and one lung ventilation 3 have demonstrated improved correlation between Pa CO2 with tcP CO2 as compared to correlation of Pa CO2 with Et CO2 however, controversy exists. Recent literature has evaluated the relative efficacy of transcutaneous CO 2 (tcP CO2) compared to end-tidal CO 2 (Et CO2) monitoring as a reflection of arterial CO 2 (Pa CO2). Transcutaneous CO 2 monitoring (tcP CO2) is a well-described non-invasive method to trend ventilation in neonates and is validated as accurate through all age groups. We, therefore, conclude that tcP CO2 is a more accurate measure of operative Pv CO2 in infants, especially in NICU patients. TcP CO2 closely approximates venous blood gas values, in both the NICU and non-NICU samples. Although both measures obtained simultaneously in the same patients agreed moderately with each other (r =0.444, 18 df, P=0.05), Bland–Altman plots indicated that the mean difference (bias) in Et CO2 measurements differed significantly from zero ( P<0.05).Ĭonclusions: Et CO2 underestimates Pv CO2 values in neonates and infants under general anesthesia. Delta tcP CO2 was close to zero in both groups. Relative to the Pv CO2, the Delta Et CO2 was much greater in the NICU compared to the non-NICU patients (−28.1 versus −9.8, t=3.912, 18 df, P=0.001). NICU (n=6) and non-NICU (n=14) patients did not differ in Pv CO2. Results: Median age was 10.9 weeks, and median weight was 4.4 kg. The mean differences in the NICU and non-NICU patients were compared by t-tests and Bland–Altman analysis. We calculated a mean difference of Et CO2 minus Pv CO2 (Delta Et CO2), and tcP CO2 minus Pv CO2 (Delta tcP CO2) from end-of-case measurements. Venous blood gas (Pv CO2) samples were drawn at the end of the anesthetic. P CO2 was monitored with Et CO2 and with tcP CO2. Methods: After IRB approval and parental written informed consent, we enrolled neonates and infants weighing less than 10 kg, who were scheduled for elective surgery with endotracheal tube under general anesthesia. This study aimed to compare perioperative Et CO2 to tcP CO2 in the pediatric perioperative population specifically below 10 kg, which encompasses neonates and some infants. Many neonatal intensive care units (NICU) have converted to utilizing transcutaneous CO 2 (tcP CO2) monitoring. It is known to be less accurate in the infant population than in adults. Aim: End-tidal CO 2 (Et CO2) is the standard in operative care along with pulse oximetry for ventilation assessment. a kind of cancer called head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC).It may be used alone as a treatment in adults for your lung cancer to help prevent your lung cancer from coming back after your tumor(s) has been removed by surgery and you have received platinum-based chemotherapy, and you have stage IB and your tumor(s) is 4 cm or greater in size, stage II, or stage IIIA NSCLC.It may also be used alone for advanced NSCLC if you have tried chemotherapy that contains platinum and it did not work or is no longer working and, your tumor tests positive for “PD-L1” and if your tumor has an abnormal “EGFR” or “ALK” gene, you have also received an “EGFR” or “ALK” inhibitor medicine that did not work or is no longer working. It may be used alone as your first treatment when your lung cancer has not spread outside your chest (stage III) and you cannot have surgery or chemotherapy with radiation, or your NSCLC has spread to other areas of your body (advanced NSCLC), and your tumor tests positive for “PD-L1” and does not have an abnormal “EGFR” or “ALK” gene.It may be used with the chemotherapy medicines carboplatin and either paclitaxel or paclitaxel protein-bound as your first treatment when your lung cancer has spread (advanced NSCLC) and is a type called “ squamous.”.It may be used with the chemotherapy medicines pemetrexed and a platinum as your first treatment when your lung cancer has spread (advanced NSCLC) and is a type called “ nonsquamous” and your tumor does not have an abnormal “EGFR” or “ALK” gene.a kind of lung cancer called non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).It may be used in adults and children 12 years of age and older with stage IIB, stage IIC, or stage III melanoma, to help prevent melanoma from coming back after it and lymph nodes that contain cancer have been removed by surgery. It may be used when your melanoma has spread or cannot be removed by surgery (advanced melanoma), or.It may be used with chemotherapy medicines when your breast cancer has returned and cannot be removed by surgery or has spread (advanced TNBC), and tests positive for “PD-L1.”.It may be used with chemotherapy medicines as treatment before surgery and then continued alone after surgery when you have early-stage breast cancer, and are at high risk of your breast cancer coming back (high-risk early-stage triple-negative breast cancer ).a kind of cancer called triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).As a result, communication between nerve cells and muscles is disrupted.KEYTRUDA is a prescription medicine used to treat: read more that attack one type of receptor on the muscle side of the neuromuscular junction-the receptors that respond to the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. God bless you as you live a life worthy of the calling! Serenity is a calm/peaceful state. Please feel free to let us know things you have learned from it in the comments below. The Serenity prayer is a wonderful prayer and there is much wisdom to be had from it. “I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live.”(Ecclesiastes 3:12) Conclusion So, mean what you say because you are literally asking God to let things be done that you have prayed for. Every time you say “amen” at the end of your prayers you are saying “so be it”. God loves blessing His children, so enjoy those times and look with hope towards heaven where true happiness is at its fullest! Can you imagine how much joy will overflow from you as you walk with Jesus in heaven! It will be so amazing!Īlso, something to think about is the word “amen”. Such times can include: weddings, newborn babies, promotions, unexpected blessings and so on. Amen.” God loves us all and He does want the best for us all, which includes times of great happiness and joy. “That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him forever in the next. “Therefore, we have been justified (made right) by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1) Happiness/Hope Let God take the driver’s seat and He will lead you exactly where He wants you to be. However, He will make things right between you and Him when you surrender to Him. God is a just God and He always does things rightly. “Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will.” God will make things right no matter if we surrender to Him or not. “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7) We Trust/God Restores God has already ordained your situations yesterday, today and tomorrow. So, embrace this world for what it is, and love through the roughest storms. When you experience this peace you can also know that your faith is growing because you are relying completely on God to take care of everything. This peace you feel goes hand in hand with your trust in God. Have you experienced this? This is the overwhelming presence of God’s almighty calm. There is no peace like the peace that passes all understanding. Indeed, the hardships are a pathway to peace. “Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it.” Nothing surprises God, which includes all of the hardships we face. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” (Matthew 6:34) God’s Will Be Done Don’t miss out on now! “ Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. A dad is so involved in what he is doing and planning ahead that he misses out on watching his son grow up. The song “The Cat’s in the Cradle” comes to mind. “Living one day at a time enjoying one moment at a time.” It is human nature to think ahead and plan, but what about right now? What about this very second in time? Cherish the present or you will miss out on life. |
